PEACH FREEZER JAM RECIPE
3 cups prepared fruit (buy about 2 lb. fully ripe peaches)
4-1/2 cups sugar, measured into separate bowl
2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
3/4 cup water
1 box SURE-JELL Fruit Pectin
Step 1: Score each peach with an X then put into boiling water for 2 min. Remove and put peaches into ice water to cool for 4 minutes.
Step 2: Peel, pit, and chop peaches into bowl. Measure 3 cups into another bowl. Add sugar and lemon juice and let stand for 10 minutes
Step 3: Place pectin in a pot on stovetop and follow directions on the inside of the box.
Step 4: Remove pectin from heat and pour into peach mixture. Stir for 10 min. or until sugar is dissolved.
Step 5: Prep jars and fill immediately. Wipe rims and screw on lids finger tip tight. let sit on counter for 24 hours. Then place in deep freezer. and YOU'RE DONE!!!
