1. The tea bags were accidentally invented.
Their inventor, Thomas Sullivan, sent some samples of tea in little silk bags to his customers who assumed the tea was supposed to be used with the bags!
2. 350 slices of pizza are eaten each second in the USA.
3. Finland is the country who drinks the most milk.
The country drinks about 359 litres of milk per person per year.
4. The popcorn can bounce as high as 3-feet into the air while popping.
5. Tofu is one of the oldest foods in the world.
6. Spaghetti is one of the most popular dishes in the world.
7. Humans have been enjoying apples since at least 65000 B.C. ? That's 8500 years !
8. To make one pound of honey, the bees in the colony must visit 2 million flowers, and fly over 55,000 miles. That is almost 90,000 kilometers.
9. A tomate grows from a flowering plant, botanically it is classified as a fruit, and not a vegetable!
10. To tell if an egg is raw or hard-cooked, spin it! If the egg spins easily, it is hard-cooked but if it wobbles, it is raw.
