A bass clarinet recording of Etude No. 3 from Artie Shaw's Jazz Technic, Book 2: 14 Clarinet Etudes.

These see far less use than the other stalwarts of the pedagogical genre (Uhl, Cavallini, Jean-Jean, etc.) but this does not betoken a lack of quality. Some of these etudes are particularly charming, with chaleumeau passages achieving an even greater richness on the bass clarinet.

Recorded in the early morning of the 8th of October, 2013. Audio recorded on Zoom H4n, with slight reverb added in audacity. Video recorded on Panasonic DMC-S3, video and audio combined in MAGIX movie editor.
