I bought this Texas Instruments Italian version "Speak & Spell" online. It is to be considered the first computer sold widely.
It is composed of an 8-bit processor, an 8-character screen, an internal ROM, a speech synthesizer, a keyboard and an expansion port.
Sold in the late 70's and early 80's for about $ 25 which is about $ 150 today.
I try to fix it because the audio doesn't work and I try to refurbish the aesthetic part.
