This video explains the differences between the 4 different neurotoxins in the market - Botox, Dysport, Xeomin and Jeuveau. These neurotoxins are used for treatment for the treatment of fine lines and wrinkles. Botox was the first neurotoxin on the market. Botox has proven to be safe and effective. Due to high protein content, patients can develop antibodies leading to decreased efficacy of treatment overtime. Dysport has a faster onset of action but should be avoided in patients with dairy allergy. Xeomin does not contain the extra proteins and is the purest of the neurotoxins we currently have in the market.
