Did you recently have a procedure done on or around your eye (or eyes) that resulted in a huge bruise(s) or Hematoma that just doesn't want to go away and it's been many weeks and/or months?
I recently had 20 PDO lifting COGS inserted in my mid-face/lower-face area that resulted in a pretty nasty Hematoma/Bruise that even now, (more than 4 weeks later as of 11/27/2021) looks just the same as it did on day #3, and no amount of concealer can actually camouflage the bruising.
Current Medical consensus dictates that you ICE up to 48 hours post trauma, apply ARNICA, BENTPLA, and other topicals, (among others) to help reduce the inflammation, swelling and bruising for those first 48 hours. After 48 hours you're instructed to use gentle heat to help stimulate the tissues into repair mode. Done all of that.... no noticeable improvement.
QUITE FRUSTRATING!
I'm on some DIY anti-aging Forums where some have stated their sticky bruises have taken up to a year (or even longer in some rare cases!) to resolve. Some state closer to around 10 weeks.
Is anyone else wondering besides me WHY no one is really discussing this?
I've watched DOZENS of YouTube Vids regarding under eye bruises and I've found NONE that talk about bruises that last longer than 2 weeks! WHY IS THAT?!!?
Have YOU ever had a 'sticky' bruise that took longer than a month to resolve?... If so, what helped to resolve the issue?
..... and if you could be so kind, share also what things you did that made matters worse.
* (No 'concealer' or 'make-up' cover-up tips, please.... just products or devices that YOU personally used on a 'sticky' bruise (not 2 week bruise!) that helped it to heal and resolve more quickly.}
