Boris Yeltsin's whirlwind electioneering tour of Russia during the past month seems to have paid off.
When he started his campaign in April, the polls put him 20 points behind Communist rival Gennady Zyuganov and it didn't look like he'd make it to the second round.
Little more than a month later, he's in the lead and there's even talk of him winning outright on June 16.
Boris Yeltsin has danced his way back into the hearts of the Russian people.
He's been winning votes during his whirlwind and wild tour of Russia.
The Russian leader has reinvented himself as a man of the people and looks as confident here as he did when first elected in 1991.

His campaign tour seems to have been a resounding success.
Mainly because Yeltsin simply did what he does best - dancing, singing and meeting his voters and their children.
Only time will tell if his campaign has worked.
But Yeltsin has proved something - he can still find a common language with his people.
