There isn’t all that much to this, considering it’s happening not because there’s a compelling feud between the two but because they both just so happen to be the top champion on Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown, respectively.
That almost wasn’t the case. McIntyre defeated Randy Orton to become WWE champion just this past Monday night, setting us up for this. He followed that up by coming to SmackDown for a contract signing, where Reigns, because he’s awesome, spent the entire time calling him his “favorite number two.” #DrewMcintyre #RomanReigns #SurvivorSeries
