Doner or doner kebab is a Turkish street food where pieces of meat flavoured with animal fat and spices are thinly cut, skewered and cooked by hanging them vertically.

This delicious street food, which started in Turkey, has now spread to many countries around the world. In many countries, it is possible to see Doner Kebab, Shawarma, Turkish Doner, Istanbul Doner on shop signs.

Although doner started its first journey as lamb doner, the most consumed types of doner today are beef doner and chicken doner... Doner Kebab can be served as a portion, between bread or as a wrap.

Today, we learnt from the master how to make this perfect flavour. We saw how the meat was carefully skewered and cooked... In addition, this 'Dönerci Hasan Usta', who makes his own bread and pita bread, enchanted us. On the one hand the smell of doner and on the other hand the freshly baked Turkish street food bread and pita bread...
