The most delicious caramel pudding recipe ever.
Soo yummy that you wouldn’t resist a second helping. Passed on from generations
INGREDIENTS
Sugar : 100 gms ( for caramel)
Milk : 500 ml
Sugar : 100 gms
Eggs : 4
Egg yolk : 1
Coffee : 1 tsp
Cashew nuts : few
METHOD
Heat the milk with 100 gms sugar & cashew nuts .
Keep aside to cool
Beat the eggs & egg yolk together
& stir into the cooled milk
Caramelise a dish with 100 gms sugar Over low flame until melted & well browned
Pour in the coffee mixed with a tea spoon of water & gently coat it around the mould
Keep to cool so the caramel hardens for about 10 mins
Pour the prepared custard into the mould
& steam it in a cooker for about 20 mins after 1 whistle on slow flame
Cool the pudding when done and chill in the fridge
To unmould run a knife all around the pudding, place a plate upside down over the mould & invert !
