Alternate Picking Shred Licks. I based this lesson demonstration on some of the licks that I learned from the song Far Beyond the Sun by Yngwie Malmsteen.

As you notice I play the lick with the alternate picking technique and at the last part I play an F# minor arpeggio using sweep picking.

Actually, the lick itself is an amazing exercise for improving your skills on alternate picking and sweep picking as well.
