Come along on a tour of the brand new Centurion Lounge at the Atlanta airport! This lounge, which opened on February 14, 2024 is the largest American Express Centurion Lounge in the world!

If you travel frequently through the Atlanta airport, you know important it is to have an airport lounge available for long layovers or delayed flights. If you are in the Southern United States like I am, nearly all my flights for cruises from Florida route through Delta, since I start at a small “feeder” airport.

Lately, the Delta Sky Club lounges have been overcrowded, and access to them is being reduced or eliminated for many Delta American Express Card holders. This new Centurion lounge, located at gate E11, provides an additional lounge for those passengers.

To access the Centurion Lounge, you need to have an American Express Platinum credit card, an American Express Delta Reserve credit card, or the invitation only Centurion Card. You present your credit card along with your boarding pass at check in to the lounge.

If you are brand new to the concept of airport lounges, an airport lounge is a members-only lounge frequented by high level frequent flyers, passengers with an International Business Class or First Class Ticket, and/or certain credit card holders. Centurion lounges are ONLY for American Express card holders. These lounges provide a haven for travelers away from the busy airport terminals and gates.

Once inside, amenities include gourmet dining, premium beverages including whiskey drinks at the new Reserve Bar, comfortable seating, free, fast wifi, plugs and USB ports for your electronics, and much more. The lounge includes two outside terrace areas, one overlooking airport runways and the other in a garden.
