Judy Hubbell teaches Qigong and T'ai Chi Chih for Judy's Mind body June 28, 2024. In this video there is your list of my favorite Qigong Moves: Triple Burner, Buddha Picks up the Earth, etc, and most importantly instruction regarding the 3 Dantiens! Starting at the top, they are 3 to 1 and top to bottom the Head, Heart, and Abdomen. The 1st Dantien is the control center for all movement and breath, and starts with expansion and contraction of the abdomen, our Power Center in both Yoga and Pilates. The Mind and Heart work together in this practice of T'ai Chi Chih, said to be under the umbrella of Qigong and taiji. We follow our intention to relax and let go, however that is for our individual body. We call this Mind Body, Spirit work and control everything with the Breath and Mind connection from a lower point that also connects with the Diaphragm. Frequent hydration with water is important during your hour and 21 minutes here. This is considered Lifelong Learning for people who have time, and involves skill with the breath. Stop and return to hydrate as often as needed by your body! If you can, early morning works, or when there is peace and quiet. Be sure to have a chair or stool nearby, and that good old water bottle handy at all times! As Qigong itself is a meditation practice with Slowness, Continuity, and moving from the Center, start easy and then perhaps later in the day try your T'ai Chi Chih. Try a chair as needed, but sit up as straight as possible without stiffness. Once you get to the point that you can practice in slowness, then focus comes, and you may be able to try standing. There may be lot of questions you have here, like "Why Italian vowels?" Watch the whole video over time, and many times, and then that riddle becomes clear. The voice also moves from the center. Part of life is using what we have, every strategy that warms up all the joints and also allows the voice to finally sing itself. Try the first 5 moves with your best friend?
