The results of the European Parliament elections are controversial in Ukraine's main countries.
The most shocking is the victory in France of Le Pen's nationalist bloc, which openly supports Putin. In Germany, the right-wing populist Alternative for Germany, which is considered to be Putin's supporters, came in second and overtook Olaf Scholz's party.
However, not all far-rightists are anti-Ukrainian. In Italy, the party of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni won.
In Poland, the parties of Prime Minister Tusk and President Duda, both of whom support Ukraine, won. In Slovakia, however, the party of Putin's fan Fico was defeated by the opposition party. Fico's partner in Slovakia, Viktor Orban, received the worst result ever - 44%.
The European People's Party became the overall leader of the elections. It won 180 seats, even slightly improving its previous result. Ursula Von der Leyen retained the opportunity to lead the European Commission again.
