Hello, everyone, and welcome to my channel, where I review the latest and greatest cars on the market. Today, I have a special treat for you: the 2025 Chevrolet Suburban, the fifth model year of the 12th-generation full-size SUV that was completely overhauled for the 2021 model year. This is not your ordinary Suburban, though. This is the refreshed version that comes with a new front fascia, a new rear fascia, a new roof-mounted antenna fin, new wheel options, a new turbo-diesel engine, and a new cockpit with a larger infotainment screen and a revised center stack. In other words, this is the Suburban that you’ve been waiting for.
But before we get into the details, let me ask you a question: do you like big cars? I mean, really big cars. Cars that can fit eight or nine people, depending on the configuration. Cars that have a longer wheelbase and overall length than the Chevrolet Tahoe, delivering more interior space, particularly in the third row and cargo area. Cars that can tow up to 8,300 pounds when properly equipped. Cars that have a 3.0L LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine that delivers more power and torque than the previous 3.0L LM2 Duramax diesel, while fixing some refinement issues, most notably the long crank issue. Cars that have a two-tiered headlight setup that separates the headlights into two tiers, with the top part serving as the daytime running lights and turn signals, and the bottom part serving as the actual forward light and high beam.
Cars that have a square, quad-tipped exhaust treatment for some models2. Cars that have a 17.7-inch-diagonal color touchscreen in the center stack and an 11-inch-diagonal color Driver Information Center in the instrument cluster2. Cars that are so big that they have their own zip code. Okay, maybe not that last one, but you get the idea.
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you might be interested in the 2025 Chevrolet Suburban. And if you answered no, then you might want to stick around anyway, because this car might surprise you. Let’s take a closer look at what this beast has to offer.
As you can see, the Suburban has a new look that is more modern and aggressive than the previous model. The new front fascia incorporates Chevrolet’s signature “high brow” treatment, which gives the car a more distinctive and dynamic appearance. The new rear fascia and tail lights are also more refined and elegant, while the new roof-mounted communications antenna fin adds a touch of sophistication and functionality. The new wheel options, including a new 24-inch wheels option, give the car a more imposing and impressive stance, while the new square, quad-tipped exhaust treatment adds some flair and sportiness to the rear end.
The interior of the Suburban is also revamped, with a new cockpit that features a new, larger infotainment screen and a revised center stack. The new screen setup is similar to that of the Blazer EV, which features two displays: a 17.7-inch-diagonal color touchscreen in the center stack that commands the vehicle’s infotainment system, and an 11-inch-diagonal color Driver Information Center in the instrument cluster that serves as a digital gauge cluster. These screens provide a high-tech and user-friendly interface that allows you to access various features and functions, such as navigation, entertainment, climate control, vehicle settings, and more. The screens also support wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as wireless charging and multiple USB ports for your devices.
