Borat Subsequent Moviefilm star Maria Bakalova won IGN's Best Lead Performance in a Movie for 2020 thanks to her role as Tutar, the daughter of Borat (Sacha Baron Cohen). Borat 2 is Bulgarian actress Bakalova's breakout performance, and in her heart-warming acceptance speech, she said, "I am honored and thrilled to be accepting this award, especially because of this strong feminist message that Tutar sends, and also because of how much it means for diversity in casting, and for people of my region of the world, especially my fellow Bulgarians."
