10. Mummies Wrapped In Copper
In Salekhard, Siberia, a very unusual mother and child burial site was discovered in 2017. They were discovered in a necropolis (a massive burial site) known as Zelenyy Yar, a place that was discovered back in 1997, and has since been a major archaeological dig site where over 100 burial areas have been found so far.

9. The Native Species Of Antarctica
The reason Antarctica is one of the most desolate places on Earth is because of its freezing cold temperature. One that is so cold that humans don't live there permanently, and only a few research stations exist on the ENTIRE continent. Sure, there is life there, but usually it's overtly seen like with Penguins.

8. The Long Ago Man
In British Columbia Canada, some hunters were going along their way in the year 1999 when they came across some artifacts that they didn't understand at first. As they looked at the pieces of wood that they found, there were markings on them, and it seemed like they formed some kind of a backpack. Curious, one of the hunters looked around, and as they did, they found a body frozen in ice.

7. Allan Hills 84001
Meteorites are considered one of the most important things found on Earth, as they come from space and detail aspects of life among the stars. However, they often don't survive impact with the Earth or wither in regards to the weather of the planet. One place this doesn't happen though is Antarctica, and in 1984, a team of meteorite hunters found in the ice and snow a meteorite that was claimed to be from Mars.

6. Fish
The idea of certain creatures getting frozen in ice I'm sure seems ludicrous, especially when it comes to fish because you'd think that they wouldn't have to worry about it. But that's not the case. In fact, because of their time in the water, fish can tell when it gets warmer, and when it gets colder, and they leave the area when the temperatures drop just so they don't get frozen solid.

5. The Google Earth "Find"
Ever since its creation, Google Earth has been used to look at things in the world in all sorts of ways. But an unexpected side effect of this was people looking at the map and finding things they didn't know were then. Such as when one man went to examine Antarctica, he found a blurred out section of a map that was so large that he felt it couldn't be anything other than a massive building.

4. 10,000 Foot Mountain Range
When you think about mountain ranges, you think about them being towering entities in the sky, but in Antarctica, there is a 10,000 foot tall mountain range that is almost completely covered up by snow and ice. They're known as the Gamburtsev Mountains, and scientists are said to have known about them for about 50 years.

3. "Juanita"
On Mount Ampato, located at the Argentina-Chile border, some scientists were doing some studies when they came across a young woman's body buried in the ice of the mountain. Specifically, it was found in a crater via a bundle that had fallen from a site at the summit of the mountain that belonged to the Incan people.

2. Elongated Skulls?
This next entry is one that is a bit controversial, because there are some out there who believe that this entire thing was a hoax. Basically, a team of archaeologists from the Smithsonian (or so they claimed) apparently found a set of three elongated skulls in Antarctica during a dig.

1. "Pyramids" In Antarctica
One place in the world that just about no one would suspect to have a pyramid would be Antarctica. The cold and desolate continent is one that is believed to have not had life on it in hundreds of thousands of years, if not more in the range of millions. So the idea of massive man-made structures in the style of a pyramid would be ludicrous...or so we thought.
