April 19, 1991 - In year one of the modern flagrant foul era, there seemed to be a degree of calibration required on behalf of NBA officials. Detroit Pistons forward Dennis Rodman tested out the new system here, making contact with John Battle from behind and above the neck, but after the whistle. In lieu of a flagrant, Rodman was assessed a technical foul.
