This 5 min. timelapse clip is of our recent trek to L.A. tallest rooftop bar and restaurant - Spire 73. The footage was shot on April 28th using my Frontrow wearable camera. The venue opened back up several weeks ago.
Spire 73 offers a great experience featuring 360 views from its downtown perch. We were treated to seating facing southwest. Reservations are required (although I have heard from a few they did not have it, yet were allowed in) and we wanted to catch sundown so our timing was perfect. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND READ THE PROTOCOLS BEFORE YOU ARRIVE SO YOU CAN SET YOUR EXPECTATIONS TO HAVE A GREAT TIME.
If you enter from the street level you will have three checkpoints before arriving on the 73rd floor. At the ground level, to enter the elevator, to get the final elevator ride to the 73rd, which includes a temperature check.
p.s. Since we are locals we opted for the Metro train and the benefit is the stop is right across the street from the hotel. Our roundtrip fare was about $1 each.
