We use the weight we are and the weight we think we need to be as the most common metrics for progress in our fitness journey. It doesn't serve us well. The reason it doesn't serve us well is because weight alone never reveals the whole story of our health and fitness journey. So here are two more realistic metrics that reflect more faithfully than weight, how strong we feel and how healthy we are.
