Delft is located about 60 km southwest of Amsterdam and is home to only around 100 thousand people. The city was founded in 1075 and played a highly influential role during the Dutch Golden Age.
Despite its small size, Delft is a popular tourist destination. Its historical center, beautiful water canals, windmills, market, and blue pottery as well as TU Delft are among city’s main attractions.
