The 1st World Mountain & Trail Running Championships showcased epic battles between many of the top ultra trail runners globally.
Staged in Chiang Mai, Thailand in November 2022, this special event was a collaboration of 4 major global running bodies --World Athletics, IAU, World Mountain Running, and the ITRA (world leading global ranking system).
The four events featured featured 800 athletes from 49 countries.
