This is the second video in the series showing how the FNS-9 can lock-up under use. The issue is the trigger return spring is not as strong as needed. We estimate the spring to be in the 2lb range while we would expect to see it in the 5lb range. The above video is a demonstration showing how the pistol can be locked up while in use. Obviously we don't tap the muzzle in normal manual of arms. But we can see these pistols lockup when doing tap-racks or when unholstering the pistol in an "uncocked" position. These videos are not a n indictment against the model. We are frankly VERY impressed with the FNS-9 pistol over all. The Owner here at TDI believes this is the best, out of the box, striker-fired pistol on the market today. Feature wise. I tend to agree. But this issue does cause concern. We shared this video with FN USA and hope they install a heaver return spring in the future updates. --TDI Webmaster
