I will do a shooting review of this little piece of history soon.
It shoots great....usually, the 50+year old spring is well worn and sometimes I get a ftf (fail to fire)I just pull the (cocking handle) and fire again. it is simple cheap and a great Safe learning rifle for the new shooter in the family
You have to 1: load the round 2: rack the bolt 3 pull the Cocking Handle /plunger....4:Then fire.
so there are a lot of steps to make it safer for younger shooter.
It is quick when you are used to it.
