This is the transcription of the original F Major and a bit more difficult. Here is the link to the easier version in D Major [ Ссылка ]
Beauty in simplicity is what one hears in this aria ("Al dolce guidami castel natio!") from the Opera "Anna Bolena", by the Italian composer Gaetano Donizetti premiered in 1830. It was with this opera that Donizetti made a major impact on the Italian and international opera scene, which shifted the balance of success away from primarily comedic operas.
This accompaniment is the piano reduction of the orchestra, and feels very different from the sustaining instruments in the original orchestral music, but still manages to carry the feel and mood of the original.
As suggested by my friend, I have based my tempo and performance on the recording with Katia Ricciarelli, live performance in Pisa in 1979.
