Note from the director:
This video started off as a creative take on a final project for a sociology course, focused on racial and ethnic inequalities. The goal of this project is to create solidarity between minorities, generations, and other identities through the power of story-telling; to humanize the ever-so desensitized experiences of the world. It is only by standing together, through love and compassion for one another, that we can create change and unity.
Recognizing and celebrating our differences is important, but what’s just as important is finding the common ground that we all stand on.
