Ukrainian Defence Ministry released a video on Wednesday of what a serviceman in the video called ‘a mini-GRAD on the wheels.’
The Ukrainian military said they captured a Russian KA-52 attack helicopter and separated the rocket launch unit from the helicopter body and then placed it in the open back of the pickup truck.
The video showed Ukrainian servicemen firing makeshift rocket launchers from various locations said to be in the Kherson region.
"We gave it to our makers. They invented this complex and placed it (unit). We tested it, and it works not bad. It is a mini-GRAD on the wheels, a mobile one. Now all we need is more ammunition and we will kill the enemies,” a Ukrainian soldier said.
Reuters was not able to independently verify the authenticity of the video, the date it was filmed and the location.
