Dr. Katie Witkiewitz is an addictions researcher, psychologist, and regents’ professor at the University of New Mexico. She was also recently named director of the UNM Center on Alcohol, Substance Use, and Addictions. Her research on alcohol addiction has focused on harm reduction, and in this video she shares her thoughts on how we help increase access to care for those who are struggling with this disease.
