Upper Gwynedd police are investigating an assault that sent a Pennbrook Middle School student to the hospital on Wednesday.

Police say the 7th grader was attacked Wednesday afternoon at around 1:20 p.m. in the school's cafeteria as she and other students had lunch.

Surveillance video shows the victim walking along a lunch table when the accused student runs towards her and begins hitting her in the head with a Stanley cup.
