Let's make this Traditional Portuguese dish - Crispy Fried Sardines and Creamy Tomato Rice. Comes together quick and easy in the airfryer, and is incredibly delicious!
Sardinhas Fritas & Arroz de Tomate Cremoso

INGREDIENTS :
2 medium very ripe Tomatoes
1 Tbsp Tomato Paste
1 Bay leaf
1tsp of dry oregano
1/2 medium onion (1/2 cup) diced
3 - 4 cloves of garlic sliced thin
1 cup of Rice Portuguese carolino or arbrorio
3 cups of chicken stock

8 -10 sardines
1/2 cup of flour
Lemon zest

Olive oil
Sea Sal
Pepper

NOTES;
- for air fryer, pre-heat for 10mins at 400, cook for 7-8mins
- for oil frying, once oil is hot fry for 2-3 mins on each side
- this recipe will feed 4 people, serve with a salad.
