In 1975 Tony Benn was a leading Labour campaigner to take us out of the EEC what was later to become the EU the truth of Benn's words resonate today and as we move further from the democracy of our parents we find our rights not enhance as the Europhiles would have you believe but removed, our cries and protest are unheard by the real power that of the European union and left to be dumbed down by the very people we vote to represent us.
