An estimated 300,000-400,000 children in Romania do not go to school. They come mainly from families living in poverty, with parents who themselves had little or no education, and the recent economic crisis is making this situation worse. Unicef Romania's Edmond McLoughney explains how the recession has affected children in Romania and what Unicef is doing to help.
