The Greek-flagged oil tanker "MV Delta Sounion", carrying about one million barrels of crude oil, was attacked by Houthis in the Red Sea on August 21. The Pentagon reports that the tanker is now "immobilised" and leaking oil. Following the initial attack, the vessel's 23-member crew was evacuated to an EUNAVFOR ASPIDES warship. A subsequent attack on August 23 ignited fire on the tanker, according to the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO).
