I have partnered with Visionaries of the year (Austin) to make a huge impact to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
As some of you all know my mom has been fighting a rare form of blood cancer since 2018. She has had several gene mutations resulting in Myelofibrosis. Basically, her body mostly makes junk red Blood cells that are of little benefit to her due to severe scarring in the bone marrow. This causes her to have blood transfusions every couple of weeks. At the time she needs those transfusions, she has about half the blood in her body that you and I do. As you can imagine, this causes her to tire quickly with activity, her heart beats irregularly, and has severe leg cramping and many other symptoms. This can eventually lead to Leukemia.
As you can see, this is why I didn't think twice when the opportunity came to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
We are going to spend the next 10 weeks raising as many funds to fight blood cancer as possible
LLS is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education, and patient services.
By donating to LLS, you can help fund groundbreaking research and clinical trials that are helping to develop new, more effective treatments for blood cancer patients.
