In this video we are hiking to the Gleann Dubh-Lighe Bothy as the weather forecast changed to freezing strong winds and rain/snow higher up on the peaks so we left the planned summit wild camp up in the Scottish Highlands for better weather conditions and optioned for a bothy overnighter instead.
The Gleann Dubh-Lighe Bothy lays at the gateway to the wilderness area of the Rough Bounds of Knoydart and got badly damaged during a fire in 2011 due to a faulty gas cartridge before it got repaired by MBA volunteers.
