Official pictures show the all-new Kia Picanto city car due in 2017, which will debut at Geneva in March
This is the new Kia Picanto. The next generation of Kia’s popular city car that’s set to make its public debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show before going on sale in the UK this spring. The new Mk3 Picanto is shown for the first time here in official photos, with Kia electing to release images of the racy GT Line model to whet our appetites.
The new Kia Picanto gains 15mm of extra wheelbase compared to the current car, extending the distance between the axles from 2,385mm to 2,400mm. The designers at Kia’s design centres in Namyang, Korea and Frankfurt, Germany have also pushed the wheels further out towards the car’s corners for a shorter front overhang, yielding a sportier look and a tighter turning circle.

The sporty styling seen on the GT Line model pictured will be toned down on lower specification Picanto models but all new Kia Picantos will still offer a more dynamic look designed to help them stand out from their Hyundai i10 sister cars. Kia's trademark Tiger Nose grille, a beefy front bumper and LED lighting tech all help here.
