In this video I play a solo on a 12 bar blues using chromatic half note licks and lines in the style of Robben Ford, Matt Schofield, Josh smith a.o. You could start just working on the licks, that you like the most, or better learning one line of the blues at a time. I learned to use chromatics in my playing by listening to players as Robben Ford and Larry Carlton, but also by listening a lot to jazz and funk saxophone players as David Sanborn and Michael Brecker.
