Karandi omelette is a special, cup-shaped fluffy egg omelette cooked in a ladle-shaped tadka pan. This pan is known by the name Karandi or Talipu Karandi hence the name of this omelette “Karandi omelette. It’s a popular Street food from South Indian cuisine.
The karandi omelette works really well with biryani or even rice and rasam. It's also a perfect teatime or coffeetime snack for winter or when you need some comfort on a rainy day.
Ingredients: For 1 serve
1. Eggs - 2
2. Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
3. Salt - ¼ tsp
4. Chilli powder - ¼ tsp
5. Pepper powder - ¼ tsp
6. Garam masala - ¼ tsp
7. Onion - 1
8. Green chilli - ½
9. Coriander leaves - few
10. Oil - ½ tbsp
