Finally, some changes in the forecast -- and those changes arrive tomorrow. Look for partly cloudy skies, and a breeze out of the southeast. That breeze may help to push valley highs up to around 50°, as clouds increase through the day. A closed low pressure center will move through, knock out the temperature inversion, and bring some light precipitation to the region late Monday into early Tuesday. Valley locations will see rain at the start, with a changeover to snow during the night. This isn't much precipitation on the way; only around 1-3" of snow for the mountains. While the valleys shouldn't see any snow accumulate, it's still possible that roads will be slick in spots come Tuesday morning.
The region will dry out on Tuesday, but we'll also have a chilly breeze out of the NW. Gusts could get to around 30 mph at times. While valley highs will be in the mid 40s, the breeze will make it feel like it's in the 30's through the day.
Conditions look to stay dry through the rest of the week ahead, with a dry northwest flow dominating the forecast. That's not to say that a system could sneak into the picture... but for now, that's not looking likely until maybe next Monday/Tuesday. High temperatures will be close to, or slightly above seasonal averages.
