This video shows a skilled tie-dyer doing her thing and doing it well. Beginning with simple patterns like the centered spiral and rainbow arch and getting progressively more complex with heart, peace sign and star patterns, this video attempts to demo the range of possibilities with basic tying and dyeing techniques. Three colors were used from the Procion MX Dyes line (and these are the same colors that come in our Funky Groovy, everything-you-need-to Tie Dye Kit!): Lemon Yellow, Turquoise, and Magenta. These primary colors were mixed to create secondaries (orange, purple) which were also put in squirt bottles. Some shirts shown were also died using Jet Black.
