New Yorkers - only call 911 during a real emergency. Allow first responders to assist those most in need.
If you are not severely ill, follow the guidelines put in place by the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and keep health care access available for those with more severe illnesses. If you have more severe symptoms, such as difficulty breathing and very high fever, go to an emergency department. Only call 911 if you need help right away. If you need help finding a health care provider, call 311.
For more information visit nyc.gov/coronavirus and text COVID to 692-692 for updates from NYC Emergency Management.
Again – please only call 911 during a real emergency.
