I've been sewing and making quilts for years, but truth be told I've still been perfecting my 1/4" seam. In my opinion, getting perfect seams is one of the most tricky parts of quilting, but also one of the most rewarding when you open up your seams and see points coming together ever so precisely!
Step 1: Start with accurate cutting - I love to use my AccuQuilt Go! machine to ensure accurate cutting for every quilt project!
Step 2: Use a quarter inch presser foot on your sewing machine
Step 3: Measure the distance from the foot guide to the needle
Step 4: Move your sewing machine needle if needed
Step 5: Try it out! Sew a quarter inch seam and check your work
