Recently, Niantic implemented a change to Ingress to allow players to throw links of 500 meters or less beneath fields. Whilst some people like this change and others hate it, this video goes through one way of making good use of this new mechanical whilst avoiding the politics.
The end result resembles a typical field engine - you might in fact call this a reverse field engine. We don’t make use of other anchors in this video but it is a distinct possibility. Similarly, it would also be profitable to virus one anchor, destroy, deploy with SBULs and re-throw your fields (assuming you hacked enough keys walking up and down the spine) and head to the opposing anchor and do the same.
Overall though, I like the co-op nature we used in this video. Oftentimes, Ingress can be quite a solitary game if you’re chasing stats and medals. This video shows an excellent way of fielding whilst being sociable at the same time. Of course, this is also very possible with more or fewer players than two.
