Greetings from a scorching London! Today I'm sharing a few more ideas on reducing energy costs......it's by no means exhaustive but hopefully there may be one or two things here you may not have thought of and can implement. But, first, how do I deal with this heat and no air conditioning?
IMPORTANT!!!! With reference to turning down the hot water temp. I am able to do this as I have a combi boiler where cold water is drawn from the mains and only heated on demand. The water is never left standing........this is important as standing/stored water needs to be kept below 20*c or above 60*c to avoid Legionella bacteria. If in doubt please consult your plumber/installer.
