Big yield from small space with no dig leeks|| Charles Dowding
Multisown and growing in clumps, not set deep.
These leeks followed overwintered cauliflower which finished in the middle of May. It's no dig, so bed prep is quick: I spread 3 cm compost, and dib holes for the transplants. Spacing is 30cm / 12in.

The module raised leek plants were small at that point, they went in not especially deep and I've not touched the ground since. The shanks or stems are therefore pale green, not white,, and are still sweet.
I raised the plants in these trays with small cells [ Ссылка ].
