McCabe's Guitar Shop doubles as one of the last remaining folk clubs in America. Since the late 1960s, the shop has transformed after-hours into a listening space for respected folk musicians from all over the world and has established itself as the preferred venue for many legendary artists because of its rich history, warm sound and good energy.
The likes of Townes Van Zandt, Doc Watson, Elizabeth Cotten, Tom Waits, Lucinda Williams and Ralph Stanley have all graced the stage at McCabe's.
"Fishing Blues" performed by Geoff Muldaur and Jim Kweskin, live at McCabes 11/26/2016 (Audio Alan Kanter)
