I hope you enjoyed learning how to Separate/Propagate a Snake Plant!
HERE IS SOME EXTRA ADVICE:
1. Brush away as much dirt as possible from the rhizome
2. Cut the rhizome in half, make sure before you do so that there are roots available on both sides of the cutting before you split them
3. Place the new cuttings in a very well draining soil. The snake plant likes to be 'pot bound' and will not do well in an oversized container.
4. Wait a couple days [I waited over a week] before watering. I did this to ensure the cut in the rhizome was slightly 'scabbed over'.
5. Add support to your snake plant if needed - I ended up adding a bamboo stake to one of my cuttings to ensure it grows upright.
