Welcome back to our channel, adventurers! In this first episode of our yearly Colorado trip, get ready to be blown away by an absolutely epic hike. Due to last year's heavy snowfall, we had to switch to backup trails, but boy, did we strike gold! This hidden gem should have been at the top of our list from the start. With a distance of 7.98 miles and an elevation gain of 2,000 feet, this trail packs a punch. Trust us, it feels even tougher than it sounds!
Starting at the awesome Molas Lake Campground (our starting point), we embarked on a journey that took us all the way to the breathtaking Animas River. And hey, if you're up for it, you can keep going because this trail is part of the CDT and a longer trail system. Prepare to have your jaw drop at every corner, as the views are absolutely mind-blowing. Seriously, nature outdid itself here, and we couldn't bear to edit out the incredible soundscape.
So, sit back, relax, and join us as we take you on this unforgettable hike through the picturesque landscapes of Colorado.
