President Joe Biden has been getting slammed over high prices at the pump. He made a move on Tuesday to try and bring down those costs, but not before Thanksgiving or even Christmas. With just 2 days to go before Thanksgiving, high gas prices are pummeling Americans. President Biden ordered 50 million barrels of oil released from America's strategic reserve, an emergency stockpile, to help bring down energy costs. The American Petroleum Institute tweeted, "We believe that any impact resulting from an SPR release is likely to be short-lived unless it is paired with policy measures that encourage the production of American energy resources." According to the American Automobile Association, gas prices are at about $3.40 a gallon, more than 50% higher than just a year ago. While the Biden Administration pushes hard to end fossil fuels, spending billion on electric vehicle charging stations, it insists that tapping more oil from the reserve doesn't contradict the president's long-term climate goals. White House Correspondent, Owen Jensen reports.
