I'm experimenting with writing a program that removes background audio from movies, video games, tv shows, etc. It seems only fitting that this should be used on a movie by Edgar Wright, a director famous for syncing up action with music.
If you have any questions about how this program works, leave a comment and I'll do my best to answer it! But for some general Q and A's I'm expecting:
Q - What is that noise in the background?
A - Those are some artifacts from the way the program removes audio. I'm trying to find a way to remove them without hurting the quality of the audio.
Q - WHY IS QUEEN STILL ON? (although more quiet than normal)
A - The more background audio that's removed, the more those sound artifacts show up. Completely removing the background audio gave me a bit of a headache to listen to. I feel this is a decent middle-ground until I can work out those issues.
Also, I just need to mention this, but I love how the pitch of the ringing of the fire extinguisher matches the song. Never noticed that before. Brand new respect for Foley artists on this movie.
